Chips & Turning Processing
Complete systems to increase metal scrap value and recover fluids
Metal Scrap Processing Equipment moves and modifies stringy metal scrap to valuable, dry chips or convenient, compact briquettes. PRAB systems typically use a crusher or shredder to transform tangled metal scrap into flowable chips, which is then conveyed to a wringer or briquetter.
The metal scrap is then separated from liquid, producing reduced, dry metal. The spent fluid is collected for disposal or reuse using our wastewater equipment or fluid recycling equipment.
Fluid Recycling
Filter and reuse metalworking fluids
Fluid Recycling Equipment uses a variety of technologies to separate solid matter and contaminants from used metalworking fluids. The used fluids typically come directly from a machining sump or are recovered from metal scrap processing equipment. Systems are designed for oil/water separation, fluid filtration, bacteria elimination and coolant concentration control. After processing, the coolant or oil can be reused, drastically reducing new fluid purchases and improving working conditions
The perfect fluid recycling system depends on a variety of factors including volume per hour, coolant type, contaminants, fluid filtration (micron) level and desired level of automation. Metal working Conveyors
Remove and transport metal scrap, finished parts and spent fluids from metalworking processes
Heavy-duty conveyors transfer metal scrap, finished parts and fluid generated by metalworking operations to different points within and outside of a plant. Much of the metal waste and spent fluid can then be processed using a complete metal and fluid system and/or be sent to a container for transport. Metalworking conveyors have to withstand impact, extreme temperatures, abrasive materials and corrosive atmospheres, so finding the right conveyor and building it to be durable is mission-critical
